Summary	The Swiss Hyperthermia Research Network (HRN) was created in October 2012 at the Kantonsspital Aarau to bring all the allied specialists and groups under one umbrella. The activities of the Swiss HRN include a) clinical trials and hyperthermia cancer treatment registry; b) hyperthermia equipment development and validation for clinical use; c) preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies for thermal biology and radiobiology; d) thermal modelling and integration with radiotherapy planning systems; and e) development of a network with other Swiss and European Cancer Center interested in hyperthermia.
