Aarau
Aarau is a picturesque old town centrally located between Zurich, Basel, and Lucerne. Regarded as one of Switzerland's most attractive cities, Aarau is home to a variety of historical and modern sites of interests and a state-of-the-art hospital.

The weather in June is usually sunny with highs of around 25º C (77º F), but it is advisable to be prepared for cooler or wet conditions. A detailed weather forecast is available at the MeteoSwiss national weather and climate service website. Please note that the currency in Switzerland is the Swiss Franc (CHF); most shops do not accept other currencies, but currencies can be converted at most banks and larger post offices, and at the Zurich central and Zurich airport railway stations. Most specialty shops and boutiques are open from 10 am until 6:30 pm Monday through Friday and until 5 pm on Saturday. Most grocery stores have longer opening hours. All shops, aside from some located at larger railway stations, are closed on Sunday.

The education day will be hosted by the Kantonsspital Aarau. The main conference will take place at Technopark in Zurich. Information on how to get to the venues is available at our transportation page. Note that travel between Aarau and Zurich will be arranged by the conference organizers. Kantonsspital Aarau
The Kantonsspital Aarau (KSA), an outstanding, renowned point of care in eastern Switzerland, offers a range of specialities, including hyperthermic oncology. KSA was the first hospital in Switzerland to perform hyperthermia treatment starting in 2006 and remains the only center to offer both superficial and deep hyperthermia. It is one of only 20 hypothermia centers in Europe and has, to date, a track record of more than 220 patients. Detailed information can be found on the KSA website.
